21. März 2005: HevyDevy, Devin Townsend, beherrscht das Chaos, schafft das Chaos, ist das Chaos. Anders kann man diese Platte nicht beschreiben. Im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger Syl wurde wieder verstärkt Wert auf Synthies und damit mehr Melodie und weniger Death gelegt. Es finden sich sogar Anleihen an das Debüt.

Alien läßt sich im Grunde genommen in der Mitte durchteilen. Auf der ersten Hälfte der Platte regiert das heillose Durcheinander. Es scheint keine ...
