04. November 2002: Es ist natürlich schwer, dieses Album zu bewerten, so kurz nach dem Tod Cashs. Durch sein Ableben hat die CD eben noch an Bedeutung gewonnen und zeigt die Zerbrechlichkeit und den Schmerz von Cash. Es klingt eben wie ein Album eines Mannes, der dem Tod gegenübersteht. Traurig, zittrig, tiefblickend.

Wie auf den zuvorigen "American"-Teilen vermischt Cash auch hier wieder Coverversionen mit eigenem. "The Man Comes Around", ...
